It wasn’t long ago that I found these three tiny kittens, cold and shivering, abandoned like I once was. They were so small, so helpless, and I couldn’t just walk away. Even though I am just a stray dog, something inside me knew that I had to protect them. We have formed an unlikely family—me, a dog, and these kittens, all struggling to survive together.
Every day is a battle. I search for food, not just for myself, but for them as well. Sometimes, I am lucky enough to find scraps of food, but it is never enough to fill all our stomachs. I make sure the kittens eat first, even if it means I go to bed hungry. The streets are a harsh place, and every night, we curl up together, trying to keep warm in this cold, uncaring world.
The Pain of Being Abandoned and Unseen
No one seems to notice us. People walk by without a second glance, too busy with their own lives to see the small, desperate family trying to survive in the shadows. It’s as if we don’t exist—as if we are invisible. The pain of being abandoned, not just by our owners, but by the world, weighs heavily on all of us. These kittens are too young to understand why they were left behind, but I know the sting of abandonment all too well.
