Zirkzee still wanted by Premier League club after fading at Man Utd
Joshua Zirkzeeโs future has taken a surprising turn, with reports that a Premier League club are interested in the Manchester United striker.
SPORTBible reports that striker Joshua Zirkzee could be given the chance to stay in England, with Aston Villa becoming the latest club to join the race for the former Bayern Munich manโs signature.
After a recent slump, Aston Villa are currently eighth in the Premier League, three points off the top four after 12 games. However, the West Midlands outfit have a strong squad in the forward position, with both Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran key options in Unai Emeryโs attack.

Zirkzee joined Manchester United from Bologna in the summer and has taken the number 11 shirt after signing a five-year contract. The Red Devils spent ยฃ34m to sign the striker and are hoping he will add another option to their attack.
The Dutchman got off to a great start, scoring on his debut against Fulham, coming off the bench to seal the win in Unitedโs first game of the season.
However, the Dutchman has failed to score in 15 appearances since then and is being linked with an early exit after failing to impress.

Zirkzee is expected to return to Italy soon, with the likes of Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli all showing interest โ with the latter reportedly in talks over a swap deal involving Victor Osimhen.
According to Caught Offside, Ruben Amorim has made up his mind about Zirkzeeโs future and is actively helping the player find a way out. Although Zirkzeeโs priority is a return to Italy, Amorimโs former club Sporting CP are said to have expressed an interest in signing him in the January transfer window.
There are even rumours that United could use Zirkzee as part of a deal to pursue Victor Gyokeres, a striker who is attracting interest from a number of clubs.
